Hi guys, Received PPR on Oct 16, 33 days ahead of the one year mark. Been a long wait and as we all know it's worth the wait to be back with our spouses. I hope everyone recieves positive updates real soon. This forum has been wonderful, truly thankful for all you people.

I hope it's a good sign that you have done medicals. Hopefully your app will move along to to the next step without any delay. I completed my medicals on May 8th. Background check states in process since the day I received AOR. Let's see

@yoge @SJK90 any updates guys?? I'm beginning to give up hope about the 1 year time frame. Only 40 or so days remaining for me to exceed 1 year. I'm honestly baffled why it should take this long for a straightforward application

Same story I'm a Nov 2018 applicant too. My medical was completed back in May. No update since then. I sent a web form to Colombo Visa office and they replied back that my file is in queue and yet to be processed. It was like an automated message. I have less than two months to reach the one...

As far as I know quebec apps are different from usual ones. But if your application has exceeded the 1 year time frame, you can contact your MP and discuss how to take it further, or send an inquiry to the relevant Visa office via the web form. Hope it's helpful

You'll get it eventually. I passed medicals on may 8. Absolutely no correspondence since then. So you just have to wait it out I guess

Nope. 3+ months without any correspondence after passing medicals. 14 more weeks for one year mark. Waiting game as usual
