    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Thanks charlie. It has been just about a week since I noticed DM on ECAS, the application is linked to GCkey, but no change in status there. I will wait till the end of the month, then I will start to worry a bit if GCKey doesn't change, or we don't get any emails.

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Also back from biometrics! We used the St-Armand\Philipsburg crossing last Friday. Went super smooth. Going into the US we told them we were going there to get my wife's biometrics done at St. Albans. The officer asked are you moving to Canada? and my wife said yes. Then they asked if we were...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

We are looking to do this same thing the week after. I have been asking people, and looked at other threads. Seems like getting into the US as an American to do biometerics is not an issue at all. We plan to cross via the 233 point (closest to Ottawa), and will simply tell them we are going to...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Thanks for the reply, that's reassuring. With a visitor record in hand, US passport, and biometrics letter request, and asking questions transparently, would we be waived through, or would they do pull us inside for a closer interrogation? I am not really worried, as all our papers are in check...

    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

I first tried using File number and UCI copied and pasted from the AOR email. Then tried birth place (put the city only), with both 1 and 2 for number of applicants, didn't work. I then tried the file number and PA's family name, with birth place "city, state" copied and pasted from IMM0008...

Hello fellow US outland applicants, I have received a biometrics request for my wife (US citizen outland applicant). She currently lives with me in Ottawa, Canada. She entered as a visitor several months back, and we applied for an extension based on the fact that we have applied for a PR. We...

AOR just received. ECAS shows in Progress. Tracking Sheet Updated. A couple of notes: Email has no PDF attachment, just the email. Also, I am having trouble linking application to GCKEY. ECAS shows in progress, but in GCKEY when I enter information to link application it says can not find...

USA Spouse Living in Canada Application (Family Class/Outland)

Any other thoughts? Has anyone had any experience with an American citizen application returned because of a missing PCC from a country they stayed in for a long period of time?

What do you think will happen if I include the receipt and a note explaining that it will take up to three months, and that I sent in the application to expedite the process?
