Keep your hopes up! I'm AOR Oct 7th as well, just yesterday my PR was approved. At the moment I'm waiting for the CoPR letter to arrive home.

Question! After they requested the passport, how many days did you guys received the "approval" or update in your cic account? They have my passport since April 10, and I thought it was around 2-3 days for approval, maybe I'm being desperate heheh T_T

Hi all! Just wanted to say that today they sent the PPR email! :D It took 6 months and 1 day to have the passport request.

Hi all! Got the PPR email today, since I'm inland (living in Canada) I need to submit all the documents to an Ottawa office. Also, they requested only the copies of my passport, for all Mexican fellows. Is it the same with you guys? Only copies?

I asked for the GCMS notes weeks ago, I'm still waiting for them to see the process in a more detail matter.

My AOR is October 7th and my 6 months ends April 7th, no PPR email yet but had 2 ghost updates in my profile (yesterday and today). I suggest you to ask for the GCMS Notes, to see the details of your process. :)

AOR October 7th. I logged in into my cic account today and I have the same as you, the status right now is "Application/Profile Updated" but no ghost email yet... I'll have 6 Month exactly in April 7th.

No worries, this is the web form by the way http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp I went back to Mexico like 2 months ago and I still don't have my PPR (I'm in Canada again I just went to Mexico for 1 week), I used that web form in order to update the passport and they replied to...

You are able to go before the PPR without any problem, you only need to update your passport stamps document in the web form :)

By any chance do you know what they check in security background? I didn't know there were several background checks and I'm in "background check still in process" for a very long time now :(

I'm checking all the time my cic account to see if I have any changes T_T but still... NOTHING!! I don't know when this torture is going to end hahah
