Proof of funds on landing CEC

Hello all, A question which has been asked many times, I'm sure. But I can't seem to find an answer from someone who can speak from experience. CEC - February 2019

I haven't called at all....I'm happy to wait until the six month mark, although it isn't easy! However, I see many others calling constantly so this is probably why you can't get through. LOL. I hope you manage to get a response soon.

    CEC - February 2019

I've noticed posts from quite a few people who are also in a 'queue', meaning their application is awaiting final review/approval. People seem to suggest this can take several weeks, but again there's no way to know for sure. I'm sure it'll be with you any day now!

    CEC - February 2019

No one can possibly predict how long it will take as everyone's application is different. They can guess, yes - it could be any day, but the average processing time is six months, and some even longer. So sit tight and wait for an update. Best of luck :)

What does receiving PR mean to you?

Like many of you, I've been browsing around this forum for several months now, and one thing that's damn clear is how excited we all are to finally be granted PR! As we are all too aware, this whole process is emotional and, at times, confusing. Some people sit back and wait with much...

    Help with the medical test...IBD

Oh that's amazing, congrats! As to updating your application, I have no idea I'm afraid, as I've never needed to update mine. Maybe have a look on the website for the contact number and give them a call. That way you'll know for sure.

Proof of funds for CEC application

Also applied via CEC. I put zero as my funds figure and didn't upload a letter. I did make reference to it in my additional documents/letter of explanation, however. My application is currently processing (since Feb), but has passed the completion check, so it seems my zero funds were accepted.

Do all outland applicants receive passport request?

Thank you! And you don't need an eTA if you have your COPR: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1184&_ga=2.258532362.1087044140.1528229919-1708250413.1497020981

Do all outland applicants receive passport request?

I'm just wondering whether all outland applicants receive a passport request; or if it's based on the country you're applying from? I can't seem to find any clarification. Many thanks.
