Bro, I am also in a similar boat and the same date of submission. Even I am a bit tensed since they skipped quite a few dates and jumped to other dates.

The genuine reason is points are less. But I am not sure if all VO might accept this, hence the dilemma.

But adding your spouse at this point will decrease your CRS which might result in invalid NOI. If you plan to do that after your get nomination, I am not sure if you can edit the profile then, even in case if you can do, CIC will check with OINP. No? I am also in the same boat and playing...
