While ideally this is what we expect when we submit a family application, nowadays they are splitting applications. It happens to us (wife and kids got their oath in September and I did it yesterday). I agree it doesn’t make sense, but nothing makes sense when taking about IRCC processing :)

Well, our immigration journey has come to its end, I just finished my oath ceremony so I can already say I am a Canadian citizen. I just wish you all the best so that your applications are also finished soon and you can forget this loooooong process!

Yes, you will see in the tracker in 1-2 days that all is green, and that your oath has been scheduled. It happened to me two days back (Decision made in 'ECAS' and 48 hours later all was green in my tracker)

I think it is random, but usually 2-3 weeks. I think it also depends on each situation. In my case, my test was completed and my BG check was blocking until they asked for FPs. Once they received the FPs all moved pretty fast: LPP complete on Oct,25th and oath ceremony on November, 6th. Good...

Hi all, I was wondering when the oath ceremony invitation email is typically received. I saw in my tracker that the ceremony is scheduled for next Monday (it was updated the 26th), but I haven't received yet the invitation email with all the info. I know I have to contact IRCC if I have no news...

I think it seems a glitch in the system. My file is all completed (even ceremony in progress), whose update was yesterday, and today I can also see a GU from 27-october...

Tracker updated today: all completed and oath ceremony scheduled for November 6 (invitation email not received yet)

There should be some delay between ECAS, tracker and what the IRCC agent sees. Just chill and wait, the oath invitation should come very soon... :)

not exactly. I got FP request in September, and my BG check changed to complete last week (I can see background is completed in my tracker). What I meant about the no updates, was in the ECAS profile.

I just saw in my ECAS account that the status changed to 'Decision made', but nothing else appears, and the tracker is not yet updated. So I guess I should receive the oath invitation letter soon and see the update on the tracker in a couple of days... It seems the journey is approaching to its...

Hi all, I was just wondering which is the difference between background check and prohibitions check. When I open both in the tracker, they both sent me to the same page lol. In my case I sent the Fps and my background has turned completed, so not sure at this point what will be the difference...

you can just wait for her application to be finished.. :). We also applied as a family (me, wife and two kids). My wife and kids became Canadian last month, whereas my BG just turned completed last week.

Similar timeline, I did FP on Sept,23rd and Background showed completed today (20-Oct). So just LPP remaining.. :)

mmm...for my wife, LPP cleared nearly 3 weeks after her test, but I agree in that nobody can accurately (or even roughly) estimate when LPP will turn green :)
