    FEBRUARY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Probably not. We got one wanting proof I was going to be living in Canada once the application was approved. Just someone wanting more clarification on some point or another. (I sent them copies of my utilities bill from the Nova Scotia house and the tax bill, they had no problems).

Huzzah! GCAS updated to "Application Approved" today. I HOPE that means they'll be shipping the final paperwork back shortly. Now to watch Fedex tracking... (love that the page says see the letter below, but none of the last couple of letters is actually attached in GCAS...)

Yes, everything is done. My wife is from the US - and for people from visaless countries (US, UK - not sure what others), you just send a copy of the passport since the paperwork doesn't go into the passport. Seems odd to me but whatever... now we wait for the paperwork to come back :D

We were requested to send them via courier to Ottawa ... GCKey is still showing action required from June - no PPR letter in it.

For those of us who are at the PPR stage, just out of curiosity - did GCAS update to show the PPR? We got the email a couple of weeks ago, but GCAS is still showing everything in process, while ECAS is showing "decision made" and the email isn't showing in GCAS.

Really wondering about the online tracking... got the PPR two weeks ago and GCAS is still showing "Your action required" on stuff from June. Oh well. To all those waiting, good luck! And for those expecting quick answers, here, have a cup of tea.... it may be a bit of a wait. 10 months from...

Congratulations!! I presume you needed the list of goods you're bringing/sending later, as well as the COPR? Trying to figure out what Megan will need when the day comes (soon?)

I'd asked this a while back - looks like average is 2-3 weeks but you need to add time in transit for mailing.

Yay! PPR came through !! Question for others importing American spouses, though (or other non visa countries) - it seems to say that the passport is not required, just copies of the pages?? Can this be so? Also the waybill for the return - does that need to be prepaid?? Thanks everyone for the...

First set of additional documents got the acknowledgement of receipt after about a month? It cleared on GCAS about 2 months after... Second set has been a month + and still showing "you need to provide addiitonal documents" - although they were sent both via web form and through the GCAS upload...

Congratulations to everyone whose application is moving along! I love that there's all these steps that have 30 day turnarounds, but the only places that you can do them (biometrics, medical) have at least a 2-3 week wait for an appointment. Oh well. More time to get the house ready.

Welcome!! And congratulations! The other miracle is getting through Pearson in under 45 minutes. Then again, I always seem to be landing after several large jumbo jets get in. Made me quite nervous last flight - I only had 3 hours layover.

Got asked a question by my lovely wife last night and I realized I didn't know the answer - when they ask you to send in the passport, is it to the local consulate/embassy or Ottawa? If the former, can it be hand-delivered? (Living outside of Washington DC it would be easy to hand-deliver)...

Thinking I should take up knitting.... hard to wait while nothing on the site changes... they requested additional documentation in April and it's been supplied (and received - got an email to that effect), and Medical is now 3 weeks since it was sent and no updates on ECAS. Oh well... how many...

For those that have progressed further - Sponsor ECAS is still showing that they sent a request for additional documents (which have been sent and received several weeks ago - got the confirmation email) and a medical request (which was completed 2 weeks ago) - does this get updated when they...
