The Sydney office is still processing files received before Oct 9th. And all the applications received after were sent to mississauga to process their AORs. That is why people who applied in November received their AOR1 before us.

Thank you for the answer. It is for AOR1 and it is been almost 4 months since we applied. I believe after they finish they will send the files to my husband's VO (Rabat) and the wait time there is around 8 months.

I called this morning since I also still don't have news for my application which was sent in october. The agent told me to wait for the AOR to get my file number and (here comes the lie) there is no such a thing as a temporary file number. The sydney office is still treating applications...

I called the 1-888-242-2100 before 8 am so I can get the chance to talk to an agent.

I called this morning and asked about the police clearance certificate expiracy. The agent told me that they do not really care about the expiracy date as long as it is not too old. And even if they need a new one, they will ask you to send it to them and not return your application just for that.
