I applied for PR yesterday. I was wondering how long usually till they send a confirmation of recieving my application. Also, what method of communication are they gonna use? Email?

So yeah, i never sent mail my entire life. I have the PR application ready in an envelope. The last step is to include the receipt then im ready. Can I just go to a Canada Post location and they'll be able to help me? And advice or tips would be appreciated

The problem is, i did contact the admission team before applying and they confirmed I'm domestic and should apply as one. I have their email confirming that. They didn't instruct me to apply as an international. Such a waste of time and money.

Update I applied for the extension and increased the expiration date of my passport and explained why in a letter. Applied march 31. Got approved April 8th.

Thank you, i was able to understand how to do it. Now i face another issue unfortunately. My passport is still with the IRB and is expired, the from itself doesn't accept the date when i put it and i read somewhere that you have to have an active passport to get a work permit?

Alright, so i just logged in to my IRCC account and there seems to be now way of renewing it?
