December 2018 AOR - join here

Been a long time since I've been in this thread! Hate to see that people are STILL waiting. My hearts go out out to you. Personally, I'm all settled in my new life in Canada. Actually ended up in Montréal, Quebec instead of Toronto after I got offered a job at the McGill University.

The web forms can be helpful but starting around 6-7 months is usually where I'd say trying to get your GCMS notes *could* offer some assurance. It might be wasted energy but its impossible to know

So, I'm all landed! Immigration itself was nice and simple. No issues at all. Everything went as smoothly as I hoped/planned for once we were in the air. Problem was getting that far. Check in was no issue. Security? Breezed rofht through. Flight delayed by 7 hours then cancelled. Landed...

The thing to ultimately keep in mind is that if everything you've claimed, is true and you've provided sufficient clear evidence, it's just a matter of time. Sometimes more than others and that sucks but its still, eventually, just time. Hoping for less than more for you though!

It can take around 2 weeks (not unusual) to a bit longer. It'll get there!

Eligibility doesn't seem to be looked at until after security is completed which can take a while from the looks of it. Not usually a lot of point in chasing until almost the 5 month mark. Any time there's a ghost update, something has changed. Until then, nothing has

Congratulations! And yes, as @bairn7 has said, just post them physical copies (not originals!) of everything it tells you to upload. They seem to almost never provide the digital upload location for it like they are supposed to.

Not set in stone unfortunately. Anywhere between those two is still well within normal ranges

Sounds promising. Check your application for any mention of the documents. They'll sometimes add a "we have received your documents" note (not a message though)

Great to see progress happening! @gkns Ghost updates always mean progress. It might mean "we've received your files and they've been attached to your application". It might mean "we've reviewed the files and we're making a decision", it might mean "your eligibility status was updated"...

Hey, you should still be able to raise a CSE. If you think them saying they can't do anything is likely, consider asking them what the appropriate method for contact is given a CSE is the only method advised

I have a CRS score of 423, and my ielts score is 8.0, what can I do next?

Study french and get evaluated as having dual language proficiency or get an international job offer! (The latter is more of a guarantee)

Aye, unfortunately every case is different and for whatever reason, extended processing does happen. In their case, they're submitting information to clarify a point of concern so let's all hope they don't end up in the same scenario, eh? =]
