Hello all, received back my passport with visa and COPR yesterday, 9/23. (I mailed everything 9/4). I am flying to Canada October 7 (visa only valid till 10/30, when my medical expires). Praying for everyone here to be able to feel this same relief soon.

My passport was stamped today and visa issued. My portal finally says "application complete" after 11 months. To God be the Glory!

Appeal appeal appeal! Get a lawyer or legal consultation. I have heard of cases refused, and then quickly approved when appealed appropriately. You have not misrepresented yourself and an officer with some sense will pass you!

Just an important note: I didn't receive my PPR via email at all. Only got an email that I had an update on my portal. The PPR was in my messages entitled "Request Letter." I think this depends on visa office.

I received that update and then my file was approved three days later. Yay!

My medicals expire October 29, so no I didn't get a remedical request.

Call IRCC and tell them this. I was approved Aug 12 but did not get PPR until yesterday. I sent a webform and called to ask about it. The agent said it shouldn't be taking that long and sent a message to the visa office. I got PPR a couple days later.

My PFL was for verification of one of my proof of funds accounts (needed to verify the money was readily liquidated).

My file was approved Aug 12 and still no PPR email. IRCC call center agent on Friday said it's not normal, and sent a message to the visa office.

Yes, they were not able to verify one of my investment accounts due to the stupid company refusing to speak with them. So they asked for any other docs I could send to verify the money is mine. I went ahead and cashed out that account and had a verification letter written, this is what I sent.
