ugghh. My point was if they send this letter, it is usually the last thing they need. It was only to clarify that the OP will be in the last stage of his/her application and a decision will be made after 30 days. It was in response to your post:

Incorrect. The letter the OP mentioned usually has a line that states that a decision "WILL" be made after 30 days regardless of a person sending additional documents. DM could be approved or rejected.

Actually, they did the same in my case. Just one letter and it was final request. Mix up photos from different occasions. If there are any traditions followed in your country, include them as well. Send the birth certificate again as khp mentioned. Not necessarily the end, but close to it...

According to CIC, anything under 12 months since the documents were first received is considered normal. So yeah.

AFAIK, majority of files that get sent to NDVO take a month or so for BGC. You will get PPR after that. It's very normal.

What is the status of the medical request on GCKey? If it's passed, you shouldn't have to worry. I got PPR a few days after decision made on eCAS.

It is 30 days. You can try contacting the VO for extension, but not sure if they will approve.

GCkey had "background process started" 30 days after the additional documents were received. I don't know if they actually did the BGC (outland application processed in Mississauga). My entire timeline is in signature.
