Thank you for sharing! :) They asked for your biometrics because applicants from countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa since July 31, 2018 need to provide biometrics which applies to your case. Best of luck to you!

That's correct, it depends on country and when you submitted your application. The link you shared is for future applicants. Which country are you from, if you don't mind me asking?

They never asked for biometrics. I wasn't sure whether they were going to ask for them until I saw this link. According to the info contained it seems they'll never ask for them from those who submitted their applications before July/December, myself included.
