We received a mail this morning from CIC asking us to do medicals. we submitted medicals upfront with our application and it's still valid till Nov 2019. Can someone tell us what we can do at this point? Redo medical or any other way around?

The thing is, it looks like he doesn't know when the security will start. The initial mail was sent two weeks ago and we haven't heard from CIC since. We are going to be ordering GCMS notes. But so far, none of the channels have given us a realistic picture of what's happening behind the scenes.

I got this response from Ralph just now It means eligibility isn’t finalized, but it looks positive. Criminality has not started - so it has not passed. Feel free to request another update Oct 9, 2019. Don't know what it means but sure looks like nothing has moved.

Eligibility is in progress – recommend pass. Criminality and security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available. What is the meaning of this in Ralph's notes?
