I passed the 6 month mark on 7th January and raised CSE but got generic response. So, I contacted local MP today regarding my application. Below is the response I received. Anyone else here been in a similar situation? Is this a generic response? o_O

Indeed it is! I will try calling on Monday first thing in the morning. I've heard that agents can tell you if your application is approved.

Either way I will be paying around $200 more but with one way ticket there is no hassle of rescheduling.

Yeah tickets are costly but this is the best time to visit India. Don't want to spend Christmas without Family ;)

One way ticket because I'm waiting for PPR and I've heard that once you get PPR, you only have 30 days to submit your passport. Also, I don't have any thing important planned in India. So, by booking one way ticket I can come back anytime if I get PPR sooner.
