I called up CIC once more yesterday. A very nice friendly agent told me that... 1. my application is being processed in Ottawa. 2. last week there was an update in my passport. 3. Eligibility checks are in process. I dont really know what that means. :rolleyes:

Hello Nisha, My AOR is 3 Sept 18. We are in the same boat. I had a call with CIC that concluded that criminality check is still in progress. Though timelines varies for each case, yours could be also in the stage. Best is to call CIC or see GCMS notes.

Hello @golakersri23 I got a mail from CIC saying "We have accepted your document and notified the visa office processing your application" and nothing more. I think it's wise to update them nonetheless. At least they wont have a point to complain that you didnt inform them about any changes...

Ghost updates means when you login, you will see some message telling your application is updated, but nothing in the table changes. Many people on this forum received it. Elsewhere some people claim this to be a sign that you will get PPR soon :D That's why waiting for it!
