Had the same issue as I applied for OCI for me and my mom(didn't do OCI for dad). BLS told us both need to sign for self attestation and that's what we ended up doing. Her OCI was also accepted and finished processing today.

I have the same exact dates for those 3 events. I am hoping I get it here in Kitchener by Monday the 25th. Definitely should be here by early next week or if lucky, even Saturday(not sure if Purolator delivers on Saturday).

Applied via Purolator on 10th September but BLS accepted it on the 16th September.

I just checked the OCI status page and I see that the document status is processed and OCI number is generated. Also it has been dispatched from MEA(New Delhi) and received at Toronto on 21 October(?).

I believe the Citizenship Certificate need not be uploaded on OCI document upload. Submitting copy of it in the application is fine. But my OCI is still under process, so better if someone else can confirm too.

That is only if you are applying for a Deemed Surrender Certificate, right? That is, if you have lost your Indian Passport(hence, they are deeming the submission of those two forms as a surrender of the lost Indian passport itself). Not the ordinary case, right?

Hi, I applied for OCI at Brampton BLS on 16 September(applied via Purolator on 10th September which they opened and accepted on 16th). OCI Enquiry page shows Date Of Acknowledgment as 24th September and is also still under process.

From what I read, they did email everyone who were scheduled for one. If you weren't scheduled for one yet, then they wouldn't send you an email.
