Hey all, AOR: 26 Aug 2018 MEP: Sep 21 IP2 Since At Least November. No ghost updates yet CEC Inland Applicant... The struggle is real but still remaining positive!

I’m refusing to believe that’s true! I could imagine that the agents right now are inundated with calls and requests as we are entering into the new year. I believe a lot of us fine folks decided to not contact the IRCC in the earlier weeks of Jan as it was so close to the new year/holidays...

Something seems off about the company if they wouldn't renew your contract while you are on implied status. I know every company is different but the company I worked for have been more than accommodating with regards my current situation. Has the company/HR given you indication that they may...

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong here but I believe you can work beyond your original work permit expiry date if your bowp application is in a processing state. It is what is referred to as implied status. I even clarified this with my lawyer when I was in the same position you are in...

I don’t know why anyone is getting so worked up about not having a status bar. It’s not gonna tell you something you don’t already know * *AOR Date + 6 months = Estimated Date of Completion

I’ve honestly learned over the years that until you hear something from the horse’s mouth, it’s all speculation and opinion. Until there is a statement released by CIC to say ‘we’ve hit a limit etc.’, I would take everybody’s speculations/opinions on PPR and processing times with a huge grain...
