Could find a thread for renewal timeline for 2024. So here I am. Submitted my PR card renewal application 1/21/2024. Anyone on the same timeline? So far I ve got no news, and unable to link it to cic account.... Fingers crossed for a speedy delivery

This is what I heard too. But I did my medical Jan 2018 and passport expiring 2020, I landed Feb 16 2019 without problem.

I believe it's valid until somewhere in May.

Hey I landed Mid Feb. My consultant told me main thing is when your visa expires. I was told that my medical expires somewhere in Jan. But nowhere on paper said I need to land before that.

hey thanks! I simply raised a CSE (or webform?) asking my application status because it was approaching 8 months and included my name, DOB, UCI, Application number and AOR. I got reply the next day.

my AOR is april 5

Hey that's exactly same reply I got from cic just a few days before I received PPR. I suppose you don't need to worry. :)

I ve no idea why it took so long. I applied notes just a week before I got PPR so it didn’t arrive yet.

Hey guys just an update. I got PPR on Dec10. It took me 8 months and a week. Was a long wait but nevertheless I got it!

Hey! is it possible to take another medical or extend my medical? i plan to travel end Jan. Just mailed my passport today. T.T I just figured now that i need to do landing before my medical expires :/

hey guys! does anyone know if landing for cec-inland has to be done when medical s still valid? I plan to travel end of Jan and come back mid Feb to do landing but that's also when my medical will expire. is that gonna be a problem? Thank you!

Thanks! That I don’t know. My application was handled by a consultant. She just forwarded me the ready for visa email earlier today.

No I was told on the phone that I m recommended pass. I ordered notes last week I m curious now what s on it now.

I actually called them just last week. I ll give them a break for now. so tired of this waiting game. waiting to speak to someone and waiting for everyone to give me the same generic answer... :/

I didn't apply notes before. Last time when I called the agent said everything looks good and it's recommended pass just have to wait. :D emailed ralph too got reply that eligibility is recommended pass and BG in progress and security not started. I was even never asked for additional doc...
