Same here, AOR approved on January 17 and have yet to hear about sponsorship approval. I called about a month ago and they guy said there was nothing new on my file, and no new notes. I dont know what is going on...maybe the backlog has picked up again...

Hi there, Please update the excel, I got a letter today dated for January 17, 2019 stating that my dad's application has been accepted into the 2018 intake cap. I have access to the Case Application Status account and there was no updated of this letter even up to now, and I check it everyday...

I noticed that some people from the March draw said they got visas for their parents to arrive. Does that mean that CIC issues temporary visitor visa? or one-way visa? what are they? I assume they receive their confirmation of permanent residency when they land right?
