Hi everyone! Hope everyone is well! We received a letter in March 2020 that the eligibility was passed for my husband. We received the medical letter today... over 375 days letter... we're crossing our fingers that it means that we're close to the finish line! Any luck for anyone else?

Any news guys? We had to renew my husband's work permit... and the last time I called IRCC I was told these exact words about our file's status: "I don't know what to tell you". :mad: The agent told us to fill out the Feedback form for IRCC...

Yup... they truly don't care AT ALLLLL! One of the guys on my team from work who's from France applied in June 2018 under the spousal sponsorship... he had a lawyer and got his PR in NOVEMBER 2019....... so he applied 2 months before us, had a lawyer and got his PR a year ago. Very happy for him...

Totally agree with you... I think it's terrible that they asked us all these documents at the beginning of the process and now we have to pay out more money from our own pockets. And what makes matter worse is that we can't make official complaints to anyone for things to change or to get...

Totally agree with you... it's so unfair that they don't waive the medical since THEY decided that we should have it done at the beginning of the process instead of at the end. We'll most likely have to pay again for another work permit since it's expiring next February. And there's absolutely...

Any news guys? We're going on 28 months... I think we've all been patient... and what's even worse is that we know skilled workers that applied under the express entry program at the beginning of 2020 and have already gotten their PR. My husband works, pays taxes and we haven't heard a peep...

I realize that but will only believe it once our files are approved!

No... :( We unfortunately have been waiting for the last 25 months. We provided those documents in the very beginning since we dealt with an immigration consultant in the beginning... he gave us this recommendation. He told us the more proof, the better.

Yes, we had to submit copies of all those documents as well... they won't process until you provide. When did you guys apply? In August 2018 or more recently?

Hello! I would assume it would be best to send all the documents at the same time, just so they don't get lost if in the wrong hands on the CIC side. What type of documents are they asking you for?

Still waiting as well and also believe that our file is in MTL... I've sent 3 web forms and called twice. We're well over the 2 year mark now... it's so crazy that they can have so much backlog. Let's hope they get back into it and that there isn't a second wave that hits... :(

I am so upset for you... not only did you have to spend more on a work permit but now also the medical. That's over an extra $500... it should be illegal. I hope once the medical is re-done that you get the PR quickly afterwards... good luck! :oops:

So crazy that it takes that long... if I recall back in 2018 it was around 2-4 weeks... wow! At least you got yours within less than 3 months!
