Was in a similar situation, but I applied and got the BOWP. Took 90 days to get the permit. Now the wait for PR continues.

I guess there is no well-defined process, in CIC that we could understand. One of the guys I met in a restaurant yesterday has been waiting for 8months now. His colleague who applied in June, got PPR in November.

CEC-Inland. August 7th AOR Called CIC yesterday. Eligibility recommended pass, criminality passed, security not started. Got a ghost update on Jan 17th.

Got a ghost update on my application yesterday . Didn’t see any changes. AOR 7th August. CEC inland. Fingers crossed!

The summary of enquiry was that, as per CIC processing timelines, by application was suppose to be processed by now, but I had not seen any update. Got a vauge response the next day saying the case officer than been informed of the delay and that they will get in touch.

Hi, I had applied on October 17th and it was approved yesterday. It’s taking 80+ days on average. I know it’s hard to wait, but be positive. You will get it!

AOR - Aug 7th BOWP filed on Oct 17th BOWP approved today. Called CIC to check on PR. Was told eligibility is “recommended pass”. Criminality check in progress Security- not started. Agent asked to wait until 6 months was over. What can I expect?
