They offered me to get an assessment for Bachelor's or get refund, i opted refund. They are yet to send a confirmation though whether it's full or partial.

You're welcome. I guess so. Never know when ICAS would stop it too though. There's a pattern.. WES CES n now IQAS.. they all used to do it and stopped at some point.

Has SMU sent Ur transcripts already? If not, ask them to hold meanwhile u apply some here else. You may still cancel application at IQAS and get a refund.

Update: Got an email from IQAS today, they denied assessing my masters. I sent them HC orders and UGC notification along with a letter from SMU, no use of escalating the issue. Their manager sent a formal email stating they strictly follow current rules of UGC for Sikkim Manipal University and...

They have asked most of the people lately to provide the details of study centre. I also read one case where the candidate was never asked for any detail, but directly emailed by IQAS that- since you studied at xyz centre, which is outside Sikkim, hence your degree is not recognised. If you...

What kind of document has SMU provided you to prove that? Can you share?

You asked about ICAS in a previous comment. Have you applied at ICAS or still waiting? Are you sure they evaluate SMU DE degrees?

I've escalated the case with them; they have not provided a final response yet.

I think they should assess it. As highest qual is not from SMU. MKU degree is also done through distance education?

No actually everyone is being asked. I'm reading not heard of a successful assessment lately.

Did they ask u if u want to get the Bachelor's degree assessed? Where is it from? No I am yet to receive my official ECA or their final response. But as I sense it is going to be negative. I have mentioned each detail I knew including the High Court order about what all degrees are ''protected"...
