PR cards: Does it really take six weeks to mail it?

Yes that means they already mailed it out to your registered address. Status shouldn't change, it will remain that way. At least not according to my experience. You can call up IRCC to double check if you’d like. But yea, seems like a good timeline is on your side.

    COPR and coronavirus

You dont need to carry all of the money you have in your pof to canada in cash. If I’m not mistaken there’s a limit to how much you can carry in hand before you need to declare. I’m flying to canada next month and I plan to just bring enough in cash for a week and the rest will prolly move to...

Re-issue of Expired COPR & Visa

IRCC specifically stated in their ‘ultimatum email’ for applicants NOT to do upfront medical before receiving their medical request. What are the chances that they don’t need your dependents to redo it since theyre non accompanying, hence only need yours? If it were me, I would probably send a...

    Insurance & Bank

Hi there, I have a few questions in mind and I was wondering if any of the newcomers here can share their experience on the following: Is it recommended to obtain a new life insurance in Canada instead of maintaining what you have from your former resident country? I saw Scotiabank's website...

Re-issue of Expired COPR & Visa

You will get an email notification that says “we need something from you” but there’s no info in it. The info and full details of the ppr letter comes thru your gckey account, which is downloadable as a pdf. So I guess it doesnt matter if your old representative is getting the email notif since...

    COPR and coronavirus

I really dont think there’s any issue with family members doing the meds in diff countries. At the end of the day, all approved clinics will report to the same ircc. Just my two cents

    COPR and coronavirus

This happened to me previously. I uploaded a copy of my new passport via webform as an update for ircc but i didnt wait for their respond or anything. I just proceeded straightaway to submit my new passport and the person at the counter asked me for my old passport as well so i gave them both...

    Singapore - Medical Checkup

Is that a panel from Fullerton Healthcare? Cuz that’s the only clinic you can go to for cic matters. I booked my appointments through a phone call, so you can try the same. Once booked they will send you registration form you need to complete and send to them in advance via email. The med...

The last time I did this, I printed the form and sign by hand. I scanned the doc after and submitted. Pretty sure I did this to be safe rather than signing with an e-signature.

Finding a rented home for a family with a dog

Hi there, If all goes smoothly, I would be moving to Vancouver in mid 2022. I was wondering if anyone has experienced moving with their pet and finding a house rental? I have done quick search and it seemed difficult to find any homes that are open to pets. Happy to receive any suggestions ...
