I prepaid for VFS when my parents for biometric. After receiving the PPR letter, I just updated VFS and received the link for balance of the payment within 24 hours. They collected the passports after 10 days.

@robertp, @laxsun @serious_cheese Just an update for Line 841. I submitted the PCC for my mom and dad on Sep. 24th. I got an extension for submitting the documents as I received the PCC after the deadline for submitting my documents.

Hi Please help me out. I received PCC request on Aug. 16, 2021. The request is valid till Sep. 15, 2021. I got an appointment for my parents in India to submit PCC request application for Aug. 25th. The processing time for PCC can take 3 to 4weeks. If that's the case I will miss the deadline...

Hi I booked the appointment for Aug. 25th. It takes 2 to 3 weeks to get PCC. If it dosen't arrive before deadline we will have to contact CIC via webform. Once you receive the PCC upload it on MYCIC account.

Hi I was in similar situation. Medical requested May 31, 2021. Medical done on June 16, 2021. My deadline was June 30, 2021 but the medical received date updated on ECAS was July 2, 2021. I hope that helps.

I checked with an immigration consultant. He said you have to maintain your income level until your parents or grandparents arrive in Canada after getting COPR.
