Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Landed at the Vancouver office. I arrived for an 8:30 appointment, but I wasn't seen until around 9:30 or 9:40. The actual meeting itself was super simple and quick, though! So glad this is all over. I hope you all get your meetings soon.

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Finally some good news! My landing interview is set for May 28th. So ready for this whole thing to be over. Is there a way to get a SIN while I'm downtown? It'd be nice to get them both out of the way at the same time.

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Thankfully, I was able to reenter Canada after having to leave for that funeral. I can't believe I still haven't heard anything though.

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

I honestly can't believe I haven't heard anything yet. Can't remember if I ever posted exact dates here, but my ECAS changed on March 5th, and I received the email on like March 12th or something, so we're approaching 2 months now. (edit: past me says the letter came March 5th, oops) I had to...

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Nice, I'll be sure not to mention my PR to the airline. I've flown to Canada many times and have never been asked about that, so I don't foresee that being an issue. Thanks again, all!

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Thanks, guys, I feel less scared about traveling then. I also saw the thing about only being able to enter via a land border with a CoPR, but I guess they only say that because airlines won't let you on board if you're a Canadian PR and you don't have your card. I was always skeptical of people...

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Not really sure that this is the best place to ask this, but I'll take a shot since I'm in this situation because of the Vancouver wait times - My DM letter came March 5th, so I'm expecting my landing interview to be mid-late May (approximately). I have a trip that I've been planning for a...

How long does it take for the interview date emailed?

Vancouver is extremely backed up. I got that email on March 5th myself, and I also haven't heard anything since then. People in this post are posting when they hear updates from the Vancouver office. Looks like they're getting to people that were sent that email on/after February 15th...

    *******July 2018******* Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Has anyone received an interview date in Vancouver yet? I got DM on both sides like 3 weeks ago now almost, and I haven't heard anything yet. I've heard Vancouver is way busier than other offices, so that's not surprising, but I thought maybe I'd have an appointment date and time by now at least.

Do the immigration offices give you a date and time to come in for the interview, and if so, how easy is it to reschedule if it's a date and time that just can't work? That's like the last thing I'm worried about

    *******July 2018******* Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Honestly, I think I somehow forgot to include my original flight information upfront, so they didn't really know when I arrived here. This time, I sent them the flight information, some credit card statements around the date I moved here, and some additional pictures I didn't have space for in...

    *******July 2018******* Inland Spousal Sponsorship

I got sponsor DM (SA? the acronyms for all of this are truly remarkable) on February 25th, but I, the applicant, was asked to provide more evidence of cohabitation. I provided all of that on February 27th, and I got what I believe is AIP today. It was the update stating that I was eligible to...

    *******July 2018******* Inland Spousal Sponsorship

On February 25th, my ECAS updated and my partner/sponsor got her DM, but I received a "Procedural Fairness" update on CIC stating they needed more proof of our period of cohabitation. I thought my original application more than covered it, but I sent them more pictures, flight information...
