Thank you very much for replying. I will ask my parents to mention that this is upfront medical when they go for the test. Once the test is done, how do we add that to the application in IRCC portal before submitting the application?

can anyone clarify what "upfront medical" means? Does it refer to getting the medicals done before submitting the application on the IRCC webpage? I tried to book an appointment for the medicals but they are asking for IME/UCI number.

I am planning to sponsor my new born child. If approved, what would be the validity for the Child's PR visa for initial entry. When I got my PR stamped, it was valid for one year from the date of Medical tests. Will it be the same for dependent child.

Applied on November 19th at vfs B'lore. Received at vfs B'lore on Dec 3rd. Collected on Dec 4th in person.

Took me 2 weeks. Applied at vfs Bangalore.
