Shouldn't the consulate have a status portal for all the cases? This email business and anxiety associated with it is totally unnecessary and can be easily avoided. It takes less than two weeks to develop and deploy a status portal. I will do it for FREE. Just provide the passport number and...

No response yet. My passport is still with the consulate.

I sent an email to vcoci.sf@mea.gov.in but they re-routed it to misc.sf@mea.gov.in and I got a reply saying that my case was added into the system on November 8th and it takes one full month to get the PCC.
