Had my oath last week, Friday and I just successfully applied for a Canadian passport yesterday :) My days of applying for immigration papers are finally over. Good luck to everyone still waiting for their test dates / waiting for their oath invites!

    June 2018 - Citizenship Applications

Oooh, that's good to know. Though I think I might still apply for urgent though.. I'll probably get their opinion on it since I technically will still have a week for them to be able to process the passport.. As you said, could be enough time. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

    June 2018 - Citizenship Applications

Unfortunately it is illegal to talk about the exam questions.. My advise is to just review what's in the booklet and/or do the practice test. Good luck! :)

    June 2018 - Citizenship Applications

Do you know if we can apply for urgent/express processing? I'm having my ceremony on April 12, but we're leaving the country on a pre-planned trip on April 23. I told the immigration officer about this during my interview and he said he would note it down so I can do the ceremony when we get...

Please update line 57: Decision Made: March 4 (at least that's when I saw it on ecas), but I knew that I passed the exam on Feb 27. Re oath taking, I had requested that it would be after May 14 which is when we are scheduled to get back to Canada.

Quick question. My husband and I are going on a vacation to Europe in April as a delayed honeymoon from our wedding last year. We booked our flights before I even got my test invite. I'm taking the test next week in Vancouver. Do they keep your passport after the exam? Or do you still keep get...

PR Card holder has to physically be in Canada to be eligible for citizenship, unless the card holder or the applicant is a crown servant or a family member of a crown servant. I would check the eligibility here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/check-eligibility.asp and read up on the...

Not on our case. What documents did you submit that you wanted to get back? If they're documents like the birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc, you can easily request for new copies though the NSO (now PSA). I remember reading it somewhere in the application or maybe the guidelines that...

*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

You should be able to link it no problem, as long as I think you ticked a box that says you are a family member / a friend of the principal applicant. I was appointed as the sponsor for my husband's application and I was able to link it to my account when the time came.

Yup, plane tickets, photos, anything that will prove your still in contact and in a relationship with him while you're in Canada. Pati kung nagpapadala ka ng money sa kanya, or vice versa. Yung samin na sinubmit ko (since 10 years na kami together) naghalungkat pa ako ng college photos namin...

Ok. Feeling ko malapit na yan. Just keep on hoping for the best. Most likely tinatapos lang nila ang mga June, July, and August applicants. Ang daming nagPPR na August and the months prior. May chance na by next month PPR na kayo (again, depende pa rin sa application and sa nakakuha ng...
