I applied for passport by mail on feb 28. and now they will transfer the file to my local passport office for urgent processing as per my request. Do i need to re start the application? I mean take picture again, fill out the form, etc? or just go with proof of travel thats it? i am waiting for...

mine got charged on march 25 and i am still waiting!! in fact its for my baby's first passport.

As per my own experince it took around 1 week for security check. But each and every applications are different. After security check is done, you will notice decision made on ecas and all you need to do is wait for the COPR email. Good luck.

The timeline % is just a guide to show how much time left for the whole proccess to complete. It depends case by case and everybody's application is different some might even get COPR before 90% for example. Good luck to you.

Everybody's application is different, and every officer looks after everybody's file in different way, i mean they have their own way of how to proceed. All i would advice would be to be patient at least you know that you got approval; I am sti waiting for approval me. All the best dude
