If you put residence in Canada, then you will not get Bio Metric letter but if they are not in Canada and go to VFS for stamping then biometrics will be required. Just curious if CIC will know that they are no more in Canada.

I thought I will share my experience. I had to do translation of birth certificate for my daughter. We got it done from Toronto. They sand us a notarized translation along with an affidavit from translator. But this was in 2015.
