You can travel normally to your home country with expiry of 6 months mean Pakistan.. If you really need or have a plan to Pakistan then renew your passport but you have to update to CIC... But I am hoping that you will get your Citizenship until December..

Its mean that they send any email to require any documents or any kind of information they are looking for .. So check emails properly everyday even Spam folder

If you just translated it then it should be notarized but if as per now in Pakistan death certificates are half in Urdu or half in English then its totally fine to submit bcz that's original one now a days so no need to notarized..

I can only advise if they can travel before 2nd surgery and take medical assistance here in Canada .. Bcz if you will inform to CIC about his medical situation possible they will rethink about PR which is granted and can again go on process of medical again.. If they can even enter in Canada...

You can hope to receive PR cards soon bcz I got my PR card in 2.5 weeks and my husband got in 4 weeks after landing..

In any of case of PR ,its better to leave once they receive PR card but if its really important to leave then only way is that anyone can receive cards in mail at home and can deliver them by mail or personally .. Then they can come back bcz they need to show PR card to enter in Canada again
