I am flying on 9th nov too. I dont know but my visa got approved in 1 business day and the next day I was asked to send my passport. I will provide a detailed timeline once I receive my passport in hand.

Yeah my tracker activated and shows that the item has been processed in Ottawa. Waiting for it to reach Toronto. It take 1 business day to reach.

Just an update, My Visa was approved on 22nd oct and the passport was mailed back to me on 23rd. Since the canada post very conviently decides to go on strike I have no idea when my passport is going to arrive.

Hey, If you go to the CSE webform, you ll see an option in the drop down menu “Withdraw application”. Click that and in the body of the message explain your situation. If you’re planning to travel, upload your airtickets too. Hope it helps

I know! If possible you should withdraw this application and fill in a fresh one. I dont know why it took them this long to approve the visa. Its been over 2 months and its not normal.

I hope so too. I just need to talk to an agent and explain my situation. I still have 3 weeks, lets see if i get it before that otherwise its going to get totally wasted. One more thing! Do you know if people in our sitauation can apply for ETA and come back to canada and apply trv later?

I withdrew my previous application and submitted a new one with imm 5257. Now i am pretty sure that my visa wont come before 9th nov. Wasted money on the ticket too.

How did you get 5257? My quentionaire only let me fill out 5707. Did you apply online?

Yes i applied in Canada after getting my work permit too. I hope i filled out the right form. I filled IMM 5707e. After doing that questionaire i filled out that form because there was no other option for 5257.

No my eligibilty hasnt even started and i am really afraid of this Canada Post situation in canada ‍♂️
