For those that are interested my timeline is below in my signature. I wish all those July apps still waiting all the best and hopefully you get a...

****JULY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Hey all, Thought I would share my timeline below as I hope it shows others that things can move quickly after receiving AOR. I had my PPR today and only had my medical 2 weeks ago. So although it was a tough wait of almost 4 months to get my AOR1, I then got my decision made and passport...

Hey all, my file was transferred to Mississuaga yesterday, but both me (primary app) and my wife (sponsor) reside in the UK, so we were expecting it to get transferred to the London visa office instead. Will this still happen do you think? I have my medical tomorrow so maybe after that?

Ah ok, so I got AOR earlier this month so can expect maybe a Summer 2019 move if they are working on the same timelines. Hopefully they aren't as busy as last year then! Thanks for the heads up

9-11 months from now?! or from the start of the whole process. That seems extreme! Would be frustrating if that's the case, but I guess just have to go with the flow! H

THanks. To be honest I just copied another timeline and changed the dates for what applied to me. Both me (aplpicant) and my sponsor live in UK, so will this likely be transferred to a different handling centre? Thanks for your help. Henry

Hi guys, I have my medical next week, and as per my timeline below have sponsor approval etc. Is there a usual timescale after a passed medical when you are likely to get PPR? I really need to start preparing when I'm going to be moving over from the UK, and want to know if it's likely Jan/Feb...

You will probably get the AOR1 email tomorrow. I was able to open my account on GCKey for 1 day and then the email came overnight for me. The AOR1 email also goes to the sponsor not the applicant.

On our sponsorship ecas it says under 'sponsorship application' - Decision made. We haven't had any emails or anything - does this mean that the sponsor has been approved? Or can decision made also be a rejection?

Hey there. Apparently if you’re not going into a job which is like medicine/public healthcare, and you are from certain countries, you may not need a medical . So I’m hopeful I don’t, just to save on time. With regards to my background check, I provided a police certificate up front with my...

****JULY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Hi all - below is my summary off GCkey. If I don't need a medical or background check, what is the process from here - should it be quite quick now that they come to a decision? Anyone had a similar experience and able to advise? Thanks Henry Review of eligibility - Your application is in...

Just did it with my names, dob, place of birth etc. I tried every day for about 3 months, so your time will come when you are able to do it. Just keep trying!

Also because I'm from the UK it is saying I don't need a medical, and also dont need a background check as provided a police certificate up front. It says no additional documents are needed and that they are just assessing my eligibility. What are the next steps from here if they dont need...

July 19th App here and I have just tried to link with my GCKey and it has finally worked!! Not received any AOR email, but now have a UCI number and says on GCKey that they are processing my application. Happy days after a 115 day wait!

****JULY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Couple of questions when filling in GCKey. I have a daughter, but she is a Canadian Citizen, so not included in the application (although I had to send proof in the application). So do I put 2 or 3 as the number of applicants? Also my full name is Henry Stanford Salmon, so for the given name...

****JULY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Yep in the same boat. Wife is Canadian and we both live in the UK. I'm July 19th Applicant. Just frustrating that I'm seeing loads of August applicants getting their AOR1s etc, even outbound applicants. Just don't understand why they are getting priority over July applicants!

****JULY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Do we know if any of the outbound applications in August have had their AORs? If that is the case then I will certainly feel a bit aggrieved!
