Applied on December 6th, 2017 Medicals done February 14th, 2018 Transfer to NDVO March 14th, 2018 Saw the status changed to DM on Sept 21, 2018 But didn't receive any email regarding this update.. hopefully by next week

Yes... I did not hear anything from them and at one point I even had doubts if my papers reached NDVO.. so don't worry.. some day soon the changed status would pop up

I didn't get any pre arrival email... was checking the status through online tool and found the change this evening. I applied through an agent..maybe tomorrow morning he would receive some email..fingers crossed..

Apparently... most of the applications from March /April 2018 got the passport request.. and the long wait continues for the rest of us..happy for those who received it but this is really heart breaking and not justifiable

I know how hard it is for people waiting patiently. But how is that humanitarian by just approving spouse sponsorship to people in Kerala. How can it be helpful. I cannot understand the logic. And if some officers at NDVO is specifically assigned to clear Kerala applicants we can wait and see...

Well, maybe the officer who received the march/April application was that competent to complete it that fast. But there are so many Keralites here waiting for 10-11 months for their paper works to be done. So it is hard to believe the natural disaster has accelerated the process.

I strongly disagree to that.. it is not due to the natural disaster in Kerala that fastened his process. Including me I know more than 12 applicants from same local area in Kerala and waiting for the passport request. It was solely based on his luck

Yes.. he is from Kerala. Applied by himself.. on April 18, 2018. Passport request was in his spam email since August 27th but he found out only yesterday
