I just checked my mailbox and I have my PR Card!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!! It's been 4 months since my landing!! Btw, my profile still said submitted this afternoon, so I have received the card prior to the status changing to Approved! I haven't been able to sign in for the past few hours though...

I've been having this issue on and off all week. Someone posted that CIC servers crashed a few days ago.

They are typically fast a month or so. In my case I resubmitted my photos on January 11th and still don't have my card approved.

Thank you!!! Called CIC this morning and my card went into production on the 22nd. Fingers crossed no more delays after this!

I think some people got a photo request with a ghost update but most people got approved.

I called CIC again. They are processing photos up to January 29th. My photo request January 9th and received January 11th. They confirmed that my photos were received but they don't know if they are good yet because the card didn't go into production. They couldn't give any timeline on when...

What number did you call? I called them a week ago, and they said they were processing photos as of January 1st. Someone else called them around the same time, and was also told January 1st.

my guess is that photo request date also comes into play.. or something else is happening.
