Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

When we were there, there were lots of kids in the office. It was pretty busy but fairly casual/relaxed. I also had the same issue remembering when I first came to Canada because it was so long ago but I was told at the interview that they are only interested in when you actually started living...

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

My landing interview letter says that I'll be asked what date I first came to Canada. Do they want to know the first time ever entering Canada or when I first started living here? My first time ever was sometime back in the late 90's and I have no idea exactly when as I can't find my old...

    ****JUNE 2018 INLAND Application****

I got my interview email today! For those checking ECAS and MyCIC for updates, it doesn't seem very reliable or consistent so I wouldn't rely on it too much. We had no updates at all since the medical back in February then suddenly we got AIP and DM on both sides in ECAS within a few days of...

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

I called CRA about this recently. You don't need to file if you didn't earn any income unless any of the following applies to you... https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/you-have-file-a-return.html

    ****JUNE 2018 INLAND Application****

Vancouver is my closest office but I'm not sure if my application has been transferred there. The medical request didn't say which office it came from and I've not had any other correspondence.

    ****JUNE 2018 INLAND Application****

No updates since medical received for me either. There seems to be no logical order for processing. I'm seeing people that applied months after us getting their PR already.

    ****JUNE 2018 INLAND Application****

June 18 applicant. Still nothing in ECAS or MyCIC. Strange that June applicants seem to be going through a different process than everyone else. Will update if anything changes...

    ****JUNE 2018 INLAND Application****

Reading some of the other threads, it seems like May applicants are getting DM's yet June applicants haven't even got medical requests yet. Any idea why? Any June applicants progressed any further than OWP? Edit: even July applicants have had medical and background checks!

    ****JUNE 2018 INLAND Application****

It arrived regular mail and it was just a single page OWP with no cover letter or additional documentation.

My OWP arrived in the mail on Thursday. OWP was approved online September 11 and I received the printed OWP on September 20 in case anyone was wondering how long it takes for them to post it out.
