I have raised several CSE in the past (not about this issue), but I have never received any response from them. What I discovered was, directly contacting the VO was usually faster. However, I will still raise a CSE today.

Sorry for the late reply. I wasn't eligible to apply for a PR in Australia because even though my occupation is on their shortage list, they have no assessing authority to assess my educational qualifications. Degree assessment is the first step to apply for a PR in Australia just like Canada.

Hi Gary, Even my VO is Sydney. Can you please tell me what number or office you called them? When I tried calling the Sydney office, the automated voice messages tell me to send them an email to know the status. I could not get any option to speak with an agent.

Does IRCC look at the CRS after AOR? I applied with a CRS of 447 and I heard that the CRS cut off has gone up to 470 since then. Does this mean that I will get PPR only when the CRS drops below 447? Anyone have any information about this?
