Yes I have a tracking number and the status has not changed ever since. I can not call the embassy in Abu Dhabi as there is no such option.

@Ibbiarib well in Pakistan people get it in a week. In Dubai they takes sometime. I hope I get it within this week.

It depends case to case. Not everyone requires an interview. I didn't give any

@Nazirme I got passport request the same day. passport submitted on April 18th. waiting for it to return. Apparently it takes some time to get it back in UAE

Well I think LVO is aware of my medical expiration. I am sure it mean 1year from now the time i receive PR. They are not stupid. The passport itself takes within 4weeks to come :rolleyes:

The letter recieved says my PR documents will be valid for 1 year from date of ur medical.

1) Does the passport go to london office for visa stamping or to canadian embassy in residing country of applicant? 2) how long does it take for passport to return from embassy?

I guess LVO is making most people do medicals again. I have seen this alot lately people getting decision made after 2nd medical.

If applicant was wife and she would get pregnant during the process, i think it would most definetely delay process. In your case husband is the applicant so it doesn't really affect the case if wife (sponsor) gets pregnant.

Not necessarily all simple cases get done in 12 months. I think it all depends on how efficient the officer is. Some might be quick with applications and some might be laid back and lazy
