Did you go to India using the Indian Passport? There is no penalty if you used the Indian passport within 3 months of gaining Canada citizenship. If you used it after that period, and you have already received your cancelled Indian passport, then they must have overlooked it.

select 'walk in application' instead of "postal" and see if anything comes up. It happened with me , I sent by their courier ( purolator) and it failed to show anything under "postal" for many days. Then I thought I'd check under " walk in application", and the status showed up.
