I did not check my CIC account since last 3 days so I can’t really say, however I did not receive any update mail either prior to today. The last update mail I received which seems a ghost to me was on 17th October. So I guess, there was no ghost and I received PPR mail directly.

Hi, I spoke to an agent yesterday. I don’t think there is any thumb rule here, but will tell you what I did. I tried reaching them at 8 PM IST but did not even get in the queue. I called at 2 AM IST and got in the queue first attempt, the wait time was 25 minutes, I guess thats normal.

I too think so, reason being, previously everyone got PPR in two to three months, now since there is increase in ITA issued they want to ensure people dont panic after 3 months.
