Just received oath ceremony letter a minute ago Feb 8 for April 02. Calgary Applicant Line 23 Thanks

I have already done the test. the officer who interviewed me didn’t ask me to show landing paper because I only applied with PR no LP. So will they still ask me to show Landing paper at ceremony?

I was told the landing paper is no longer required for Canadian citizenship at oath ceremony. Did anybody get their citizenship without being asked about landing paper at the ceremony?

After test the lady told me ceremony between February and March that’s mean 1-2 month early so keep checking your ECAS

I took it at 8..It was very easy got 20/20 You might have seen me I was wearing blue jacket tall guy finished early lol.

Took it yesterday Jan 9 and changed to DM this morning Jan 10

I submitted 4 transcripts but they only checked one this morning after I passed the test.

You should Inquire about your application status But you don’t have to inform them about your trip. Even if you recieved test invite while abroad it’s going to be within 3-4weeks. I don’t think they will request FP after 6 month either.

They only looking for speaking and listening. Reading and writing won’t effect grant of citizenship. As you can see on cic website reading and writing aren’t mentioned. What language level do I need when I apply for citizenship? If you are between the ages of 18 and 54 on the date you sign...

Is this normal? I have received second test invitation the date of issue are different the first one was emailed last Wednesday and the second just received today but the test date is the same on both attachments. Anybody experience the same thing?

Canadian Citizenship has nothing to do with unemployment. If a person unemployed for 3years or 10 years this person can still be granted citizenship as long as this person filed income tax through the eligibility period.
