I agree. Also, I suggest to check your noc job and list a similar description of your duties. It's beneficial to have them somehow related. The requirement is to have a full-time position, which means a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Can anyone help me... I applied for my pgwp and my spouse owp. I have submitted a letter confirming my job in noc b, and 3 payslips. But I did not submit a letter confirming a job for my spouse, and I haven't sent his payslips. Can you confirm if this was necessary?

Are they checking if the job offer is still valid? What if we change the job after the application was already submitted?

I've called them on Friday and have been told that they are still working on applications received on or before June 21st. (Ive applied on June 24th - still no update)

That shouldn't be the problem. You're just applying as a family. Application for all family members would be reviewed at the same time. It's important to have a full-time job in required NOC level, provide pay stubs, and a letter from the employer confirming responsibilities etc. Spouse work...
