Nevermind I just saw an update for oath ceremony scheduled a week from now but unfortunately I’m not in the country. Does anyone know if we can take the virtual oath while not in canada or does one have to be in the country to take it? Wondering if anyone has tried since it’s just a ceremony...

Has anyone from December 2020 group reached out to CIC via the web form and inquired about their application? It’s been more than 12 months now so we should be able to follow up I’m assuming. Please share if you’ve had any luck. Thanks!

hahah all I really did was just resent my files to the same email address and asked if there’s anything else they need from me to determine my physical presence in Canada. May just have a coincidence but who knows.

They sent an automated email saying they will update my file in 3 days following which I can either call them at their call center and ask for the update or wait for the application online tracker to...

I reached out to the Winnipeg office last week for the physical presence status update as it was still in progress. The status got updated to completed today.

I got the citizenship test invite email from the Winnipeg office as well as the passport copies request from them so I figured they are my processing office. I hope you get an invite soon.. fingers crossed for you!

In my case, my Background check was completed end of June and got the test invite last week. So roughly 2 months wait.

Hey! I got the same request for passport photocopies this morning. Just to be sure, we are meant to scan all the pages of the passport and email it to the processing office’s email address provided in the header of the document correct?

Oh no! Sorry didn’t mean to give you a scare. Have you checked the portal and/or junk/spam folders for the email? Or Maybe yours in’s a different processing office than mine?
