I received a new CoPR and visa and used that to travel to Canada in Nov last year. More recently I know few cases where CIC sent an authorization letter and people travelled with expired CoPR and authorization letter from US.

Did they get their visa? How much time did it take?

You will see the document number and validity in your cic profile. You might not get an email alert for it.

It’s okay to have a different address on file and have your passport delivered to another. Just make sure you create a correct return label and also mention the same address as return label in the form that you are sending with your passport.

Sorry to hear your experience. I don't think you need to get the medicals done again unless they have specifically asked you to do it. Did you file for an extension of CoPR or is this your first CoPR?

Everything is subjective here and depends on who you speak to when you enter Canada. I personally spoke to 3 CSBA officers one of then said NO and two of them did not say anything definite. They were more like we will access your situation and then decide.

Yes I did receive it yesterday. My cic profile showed as approved that had the copr number when they stamped the passport. They stamped it on 11th June and shipped it me on 17th June. I submitted it on 29th May. You can reach out to them on this email address : lngls@international.gc.ca...

Thank you for replying. I just received a message in my cic account that my application was approved. Probably they stamped it when they updated. Do you know how long after we get the message. I live in LA. I wonder if they send it to a different place to get it stamped.
