Received both cards today as two separate mails.

Not sure about separate applications. Reasoning was if she is able to link it using her information then there could be a separate status. We are still waiting for the letters to come.

Received an update today. Card is approved and mailed Apr 7.

You can fill in US address and check the box of not in Canada right now.

Application is done at PoE, the officer should have asked for a Canadian address for the card

They should be PR card pic rules somewhere online. Better to check again. FedEx has branches in Canada BTW :) But you need a sender's address anyway. Ideally they should not care about where you are right now as you can legally travel back and forth between U.S. and Canada by land still.

I know there are plenty of PR tracker posts out there. But starting this one specifically for soft landed scenarios in 2020/2021. I was able to link the PR application but nothing happened for over 2 months now. Landed on: Dec 29, 2020 Linked application shows submitted Jan 19, 2021

Things are changing rapidly these days. I would recommend to follow cic website closely on the rules for requirements to enter. regarding avr the important part is to keep the documents that show you have valid status in US with you.
