Called CIC yesterday. The status is "file in queue for review by officer" as per the agent this change happened on April 15. They keep telling me nothing is wrong with the file. Eligibility has been met since Nov and background check has not been started.

Email I got is similar "in queue for review by an officer" . VO is Ottawa

Received a email reply from Ottawa office. Didn't give any specific information just that "file is in queue for review by an officer" Call center agents, GCMS and ralph's office have said eligibility met and background not started. Unfortunately it's the same status since November

Lot of us have eligibility met since Nov and no activity since then. Had the files moved properly we would have been done well within the time frame of 6 months. No idea why a simple FIFO system can't be used especially if they have no RR on a application

Difficult to understand how so many applications from Sept are stuck in the supposed 20% even when agents say everything looks good and eligibility status is met.
