    Help with the medical test...IBD

I don’t want to sound negative but my last update was in July 25th, after I submitted the specialist’s report. My profile says ‘medical under review’ since then. It’s been nine months since I submitted my application in June 2018. No change in my GCMS notes either

    Help with the medical test...IBD

You must have already cleared the medicals in the first go, only your wife’s results had issue because of Ramicade. That’s why they didn’t bother you with new tests again, I think

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

Hi, I just took the panel doctor's word for it. My specialist faxed the new prescription to her and I went to her office to personally to confirm that the new document was uploaded. My profile does not reflect anything. I am waiting for my GCMS notes to ascertain that. You can upload the...

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

I am in exactly the same situation as you. My application (May AOR) is also flagged as M5 at CMAU (as of Oct). It is still under process though, probably in 'delegated officers' hands now. However, coincidentally, my doc has agreed to reduce the dosage from twice per month to once per month. So...

No. I did not pay anything. Just follow the questionnaire and they will send you an acknowledgement email. They usually get back within 30 calendar days but this may vary depending on individual applications. I applied for the notes on 1st Oct and expecting them soon. I have read that inland...

Help me with Procedural Fairness Reply regarding the Medical Inadmissibility

Hi, can you please provide an update on your application? I am on Humira too. My application is in IP2 BG check but medical is not cleared yet. I am assuming they are preparing to send me a procedural fairness letter. Did you have Humira coverage by group insurance since the beginning of your...

    Help with the medical test...IBD

I think, tosinosho1992 is correct in that most physicians have no clue about how immigration works! My specialist asked me what all to put in the letter!!! I was very shocked! I just told her that she should mention the fact that I am not physically handicapped, never had any surgery, have 100%...

I think, apart from the difference in price/dosage for the drugs, the frequency of dosage also matters. I take Humira once every other week, whereas some people need to take it every week. In that case, the cost will be double. I use the Humira Pen and self inject, so no professional fee.

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

If your panel physician has already updated your medical file, you do not need to do it on your own. I think the IME given to you by the doctor is your copy. I am not sure though.

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

As far as I know, the panel doctor uploaded my specialist's report (asked by CIC on 15th June) and information about Humira dosage and starting date (Asked by CIC on 29th June). I have not uploaded anything on my own, although I was planning to upload a letter from my insurance company agreeing...

    Help with the medical test...IBD

I am not sure how the cost is calculated. I am taking Humira every alternate week. That makes the total Humira cost 19,200 CAD/year. I take methotrexate injections once a week. The cost of Mtx is 123.86 per 3 months, so about 500 per year. Other than that I see the doc 2 times a year, blood work...
