Diploma/ Certificate while working to obtain PR

I am currently a Permanent Resident if Canada and am looking to help my brother move as well. Ideally, I’d like him to become a PR before coming to Canada to do a master’s because of subsidized tuition. My brother would be eligible with points for a relative, 2 years of work experience and a...

URGENT: Submitting passport after PPR in home country

Hi everyone, I received the PPR email on March 26th 2019. I’d applied in Vancouver but have since returned to my home country. I’d immediately raised a CSE to submit my passport in my home country but haven’t heard back in 2 weeks. Looking for suggestions on what to do- raise another CSE? Call...

    CEC October 2018 Applicants

Did the agent say your app specifically is going to exceed the 6 month timeline? Was this because of a review being required? Or did he say this is going to be the general case for all applications as of now? I’m a November 2018 AOR..

    CEC November 2018

Seems like there’s a lot more movement happening with December AORs, so frustrating.. although I do remember a period of radio silence last month followed by days where September applicants started hearing good news.

Anyone on here who included their vacation days as part of their 52 week calculation? I had some business trips abroad that I couldn’t count so I had to cut it close.. worried that this might push me to “review required”. Just ordered GCMS notes to see what’s going on

Been in IP2 since December 6th as well.. from what I’ve seen on this forum, applications from as far back as May are still waiting after clearing every stage. Has anyone from November 2018 had additional documents requested yet?

    Paid Vacation during CEC experience

So you were out of Canada for 8 weeks out of your 52 weeks? And your eligibility was still passed? I think this is an example of how they judge your business trips abroad on a case by case basis. @jes_ON

Thanks a ton! Guess I’m in IP2 now. I’ve been looking at MyImmiTracker and the majority of cases that have additional document requests like paystubs or police certificates take place within the first month or so. Does that sound about right for ADR?

ELIGIBILITY REVIEW REQUIRED!!! Plz JOIN HERE!!

I’d appreciate some insight into potential reasons listed in GCMS notes that have led to a review being required. Is it a mismatch with some responsibilities and a NOC Code? Not enough work experience in Canada? Inadequate documentation?

ELIGIBILITY REVIEW REQUIRED!!! Plz JOIN HERE!!

Does going into “review required” typically push your application’s processing time outside the 6 month period? Seems to be the case with people I know personally.

    Unintentional Misrepresentation: URGENT!

Hi everyone, I have a worrying situation I’d love to get some feedback on, if possible. I travelled to Mexico for a holiday when I was a student in the US. I was told by the airline I was flying with that I did not need a Mexican tourist visa because I had a valid US visa. Upon arrival in...
