I got my COPR on the 26th of April. And today I received my PR card. Probably it was lying in my mail for a couple of days. The photo is still under review on the PR portal.

If you read their photo requirements on the confirmation portal under "Uploading and submitting photos", it clearly says you can also take the photo yourself. That's what I did. They had my photo from eight months ago at the time of AOR. So didn't want to risk submitting it again.

Received an email asking the standard questions on Apr 23. Login Credentials received on Apr 24. Submitted my mailing address and the photo the very same day. It shows 'in review'. No updates as yet.

Once everything's passed, the federal visa office's heavy-duty job is done (in a way). They pass it on to your local visa office to finish the clerical work. That's my understanding. Mine has been transferred to the Etobicoke office in Toronto.
